Bologna is the fourth biggest city in Italy. Famous for its amazing cuisine, its worldwide-known cars and motorbikes industries and its hills, it was not very famous for its football team. Then it happened to be upgraded to Serie A and to be bought by a forward-thinking president, who chose to renew the football team’s visual identity. When Blossom was called for this challenge, we were excited at the idea of being part of a new history.
That’s how the campaign We Are One was developed, with the aim of showing Bologna’s supporters unity and will to support their football team in their new experience at the highest levels of Italian championship. The campaign launched Bologna FC’s new identity: a restyled logo, softened colours, a new way of communicating, more modern and international.
